John Morin

John joined Yankee Marina and Boatyard in 2014.  He grew up in Sanford, ME, received training in the welding and mechanical trades, and has held employment as an Iron Worker, Mason, and Welder.  In those capacities, John has worked on government construction, nuclear waste sites, and shipyards worldwide, including locations in Germany, Guam, Norway, and Japan. Previously, John also worked as an Urchin/Scallop Diver in Kennebunk and Portland.

In addition to hunting (only for the food), hiking in the woods, fishing, and cooking, John also enjoys panning for gold.  

John lives with his wife, Dorothy, and their Cairn Terrier, Hannah, in Alfred.
