Short & Long-term Storage

Yankee Marina & Boatyard's storage space for long and short-term needs is in high demand. There is limited winter, indoor, heated space and we have open winter storage space for approximately 200 boats in the yard. Our winter storage clients have the opportunity to reserve a slip by January 31. Any of our 100 slips unreserved as of January 31 are offered to boaters on our slip waiting list on a "first come first serve" basis.

Winter storage is limited to the amount of space we have available, inside and out, and is contracted on a first-come first-served basis, only. As you can see, submitting storage contract or renewal contract in a timely manner is very important to assure your spot for the coming season.

Winterizing Package

Preparing your boat for the winter season is a lot more than just hauling and storing. Properly preparing for winter storage will make it easier to get back into the water when spring finally arrives again. Our Winterizing Package will do just that and includes the following:

• Fog engines
• Apply preservative treatment
• Drain coolants
• Winterize batteries
• Drain water tanks
• Winterize Head/s
• Shrink-wrapping

Spring Maintenance Package

Minimize your boating downtime! Get your boat back in the water and be assured of its reliable and seaworthy condition right from the start of the season. Yankee Marina and Boatyard will prepare your winterized boat for a season of pleasurable, safe boating. The professionals at Yankee Marina & Boatyard will:

• Add fresh coolant
• Check and charge all batteries
• Add fresh oil and lubricants
• Inspect all belts and hoses
• Start and run engines
